I'll post all my findings of my FrankenCake experiment here on this page. Hopefully I'll find a flour that I like the most (based on rise height, moisture, and taste of course!).with
I baked the same recipe with four different flours each time. I used a high gluten flour, all purpose flour, a pastry flour, and a gluten free flour. None of the experiments turned out too great, but that could be because of the recipe I chose. The best results actually came from the all purpose flour. I'd like to try a cake flour with another recipe to see how that turns out, but we'll have to wait until finals are over!
